The Sun are today reporting that Portsmouth are raising their offer for Aston Villa's midfielder Gareth Barry.
Earlier in the month Portsmouth was reported to have made a £5million bid which was rejected, Pompey pushing that to £6million.
Villa fans are getting frustrated with the player who is due to have talks with new manager Martin O'Neill, saying he should either express his wish to stay at Villa or put in a transfer request.
Barry would be a good signing for Pompey and would normally take up the left side of midfield but can also play as left full back or central defense if needed, and would complement Matty Taylor well.
