    Can McClaren be brave?

Ok England manage a couple of great results, however is this due to the team really being a team without any glittering stars and the baggage that comes with it?

Would you like to see the team who played against Israel and Russia continue, or would you like the stars such as Rooney, Beckham or Lampard, back in the team?

Personally I say keep them out, make them earn a place, Rooney is too much of a liablity, Beckham has his best days behind him although he is still the best crosser and set piece taker in the England team thats all he really brings, people like SWP brought much more. Lampard is a difficult one yes I would welcome him back, but then you get the whole Gerrard/Lampard issue.

If they dont earn their place or the person already in the team is injured they shouldnt play.

    :-) talking to myself.

Typical really though just as I hoped we could have a settled team thats performing Heskey gets injured and is out for 6 weeks.

Can I join in your solo conversation? ;)

I think he should stick with a winning formula, with the exception of putting Rooney on in place of Heskey.

Lampard should sit on the bench until soemone gets injured / tired, and then when he comes on he might actually fight for his place.

While I would like to see Defoe at Portsmouth I'm not sure he is right for the England team, he just isnt playing enough, although when he does he does score.

Well among all Rooney is only good player who should be in main team other players wouldn't make any big difference. This team looks well and good results from Israel and Russia.
