Will Pedro Mendes find a place in the team

 I don't think any player would like to sit on the bench and Pedro Mendes must be kicking him self after his  injury . I also hear that Aston Villa would like to make a offer for his services . Should he sit on the bench ? or go to another team ?

Its a tough one, in this new format that Harry seems to be having success with there doesnt really seem to be a place for Mendes, Sean Davis has the holding midfielder role, leaving 2 other midfielders and Harry seems to prefer the power of Diop and Muntari.

I feel that Mendes should be in our team but at the moment we are doing well so why change a winning team, I do think that Diop or Muntari will get a ban soon either for 5 yellows or a red which should let Mendes in the team, once he is there he will be hard to dislodge.

From a fan or a coach point of view this is what you want . You want your players to fight for there position in the team and when they get it , you wan them to  do well at it . every thing is looking good for pompey but they have to step up .

He definately will in January when the African Nations cup is on, its vital we keep him and Matty to cover while this is on!
