For us he is a legend returning, without him we would have been a 3rd division team (League 1 now), then when we sold him the money we got from him funded our Division 1 winning campaign which got us into the Premier League.

So our fantastic journey in the Premier League is due to at least in part to Peter Crouch.

Hopefully he will push us into a firm top 6 position and regular European football.

I've no doubt that Rafa will use the cash from selling Crouch to pick up another gem and give the Premier League title a real challenge this season.

Hopefully you are right, but Crouc will take some replacing. Hope he bangs in loads of goals for Pompey, especial;ly against The Mancs.

Well we play United enough times, once in a pre-season friendly in Nigeria, once in the Community Shield, twice in the league, and I imagine we will draw them in at least one cup as we normally do.

Hmm its a tough one, I think we may win the pre-season game in Nigeria, possibly the Charity Shield.   We tend to give them a good game at Fratton Park, and our win at Old Trafford has proved we can win there now however most teams find playing at Old Trafford difficult.
